What is meant by the conversion of a residence permit?
If you are an EU or non-EU citizen and you already have a long-term residence permit but need to change the ownership of the residence permit, for example, if you have a student residence permit and want to convert it into a work permit, the immigration office of the police headquarters in your area of residence may require a bank or insurance guarantee to convert the residence permit.
